A Gastronomic Restaurant at the Château ‘Domaine de Dolomieu’

Recently opening its doors, this gastronomic restaurant within the historic Château of the Domaine de Dolomieu was conceived as an intimate and refined retreat, where guests can savour an exceptional culinary experience in a warm, luxurious and calming atmosphere.

The design brings together the château’s original architectural character and contemporary elegance. The existing ceiling beams were carefully preserved, honouring the building’s heritage while providing the framework for a series of four intimate dining niches. Semi-circular banquette seating, designed around the existing beams, creates cosy, inviting spaces that offer guests a sense of privacy and intimacy, a little cocoon in which to relax and fully enjoy the experience.

At the heart of the room, a magnificent Italian chandelier crafted from bronze chain creates a striking centrepiece, adding sculptural beauty and a warm, atmospheric glow. A fireplace further enhances the feeling of comfort, bringing a sense of homeliness to this elegant setting.

The result is a harmonious balance of historic charm, sophisticated materials and understated luxury. An intimate dining destination where architecture, lighting and thoughtful design come together to create an unforgettable experience.
